SANTHOSH GEORGE JACOB
Santhosh George Jacob is the Coordinating Editor and heads the Fact Check team at Manorama Online. A well-known columnist and India's top-rated motoring journalist, he joined Malayala Manorama Company Ltd in 1992. A Post Graduate in Mass Communication & Journalism, and Language & Literature, he was part of the original team that created the group's first website, www.malayalamanorama.com, in 1997. As the Coordinating Editor, he leads a content team of editors, producers and graphic designers that has won various awards in journalism in India and abroad over the past 25 years. A reputed automobile journalist, Santhosh is the first motoring columnist in Malayalam, the language spoken in Kerala. His column, FASTTRACK, is the most-read motoring column in Malayalam. He has authored two books on automobiles and travel. Santhosh has addressed several international forums, including WAN-IFRA, on web and mobile content.
RAMESH K
Ramesh K is an Assistant Manager, Digital at Manorama Online. He is the Home Page Editor and guides the Fact Check team. His expertise includes news verification, re-verification, and value addition. He is a Post Graduate in Computer Applications (MCA) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. He was awarded a fellowship on 'Fact-checking & News Verification' by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in association with Meta. He has about two decades of experience in digital media with expertise in covering elections, politics, general news, sports, natural calamities, and events like International Film Festivals, Youth Festivals, etc. Over the past 16 years, he has had successful stints as News Team Lead, Local News Team Lead, and Visual Editor at Manorama Online. Before joining Manorama Online, he worked with Malayala Manorama Daily, Varthamanam Daily, and Webdunia. He has a keen eye for verifying viral news and is passionate about using internet tools to do investigative stories. He led the teams that bagged the prestigious WAN-IFRA International Award for the Best Regional Local Pages in 2010, IAMAI Award for the Best Regional Website (2015). He also led the teams that won the award for Best Online Website (2012, 2013, 2015, 2016) for the coverage of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).
RINCY JEROME
Rincy Jerome is an Assistant Producer, Digital at the Fact Check team of Manorama Online. A graduate in Literature and Journalism, she won the Best Reporter award for her excellent news coverage. She has produced highly regarded developmental stories and covered beats. Rincy is passionate about using internet tools for investigative journalism and fact-checking news stories, debunking myths and producing source-based reports. Before joining Manorama Online, Rincy worked as a reporter for the Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala. Besides her passion for journalism, she loves photography and travelling.
SANUMON KS
Sanumon KS is an Assistant Producer, Digital at Manorama Online, where he produces news content and fact-checks stories. He was awarded the fellowship on 'Fact-checking & News Verification' by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in association with Meta. A graduate in Science, he has a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. Before joining Manorama Online, he worked as a journalist for Asianet News Network Pvt Ltd, Webdunia, and Mangalam Daily. A tech enthusiast, Sanumon currently is pursuing his Post Graduation in Cyber Security.
